Great, robust tool, it's almost industrial in it's quality. I already had the smaller crop-o-dile and this is brilliant for bigger projects

I have the smaller crop and it's fab. So sturdy, a real workhorse, I think it will see me out! This is great because of the wider mouth, with the same ease of use and sturdiness.

I'm delighted with this. Been looking at it a long time, but couldn't spend so much on a craft tool. Finally bought it at Christmas, and really have been pleased. I bit the bullet and went for longer one, as I could see I would kick myself later, if I wasn't able to reach certain projects- this was a good decision, as I can see I use the longer capacity quite a bit. I love being able to fit studs, and hole rings, as they really finish off a project, and it punched through things, with no effort. Great buy, but it is an expensive bit of kit, but looked after properly, you'll have it for life.

Product arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I recommend it.

This product does exactly what the description says and I'm happy with the way it punches holes and sets the eyelets easily, though I've only used 3/8" so far. I would have given 5* but it does seem a little cumbersome to use and have found trying to set a grommet with a washer particularly difficult, having watched several videos I think the smaller handheld would be a better tool for that.

If you can afford this go for it. The stretch in the neck can reach so much further into your project and is not difficult to use gun on thick card if you have dexterity problems it is easy to use trigger.

Update to earlier review, as first one was faulty. Now just received replacement big bite crop a die 2 which thankfully is working perfectly. If you have any mobility issues with hands applying pressure then this version is good, sails through tough materials.

After very little use the rivets holding the thing together fell out making the whole thing useless. £41 down the drain.
