I was sent this to test as part of the Amazon Vine programme but being a man I had a slight problem, so I employed my daughter-in-law in an unpaid, semi-official capacity to do the testing and report back. She quite liked this highlighting stick – I was sent the Pink Light to test – and was impressed with the makeup of the product itself. I’m afraid she didn’t actually get on with it and found it to be a bit too subtle and she would have preferred something a bit more vibrant. She thought the actual consistency of the stick was a bit “dry” and she would have preferred something easier to apply but agreed that it was probably a fair product for most people and she can be a bit fussy at times!

Great as always

Unlike other reviews of this product my pan stick functions perfectly, making it easy to use with no waste as can be applied directly to the face. The pearly pink colour gives a nice shimmer and light to the face without actually giving it a pink tone so don't be put off. I found that it blended very easily onto the skin and didn't affect my other products at all, lasting all day and giving a nice, subtle finish. Would buy in future, definitely recommend

I had really high hopes for this product. I thought a creamy highlighter would be a little more moisturising than my powder version, but to be honest I'll be sticking with my original.First impressions weren't great, I took the lid off the tube and the whole stick of highlighter promptly fell on the floor. The end of the item was all mashed in, and wouldn't sit properly in the tube when I tried to push it back in.After I had time to examine the highlighter further, I actually thought it was a very good colour. It's a perfect shade for fair skin like mine, all too ofter highlighters have too much bronzer in them, and end up looking really orange on my pale skin.I tried the stick on my hand first, it smoothed on really nicely and had a pretty pearly pink shimmer to it. I really thought it was going to look fab on me. Later on I tried it on my face with my normal Estee Lauder foundation and powder already in place, this was where things started to go a little wrong.Once laying on top of other make up, it became very hard to blend in and make it look natural without really rubbing it in, which started to displace my other products. After finally getting it to look somewhat better, I checked in the mirror about an hour later and was really disappointed with the result. The stick hadn't mixed well with my foundation, and had sort of sunken into all the pores on my cheeks, making them extremely noticeable. Not the look I was going for.Due to the above reasons I won't be using it again unfortunately

This is a really good highlighter - easy to use without overdoing it and looking too shiny. The colour (pink light) is superb - really flattering for a lot of skin tones - certainly my wife (peaches and cream) and my daughter (olive skin) both feel it works well for them. My wife says this is perfect for younger users of makeup as it is hard to go wrong because the design is pretty foolproof. The price is good from my wife's perspective - a bit high for my daughter. All in all they recommend it and my wife already bought the other shade for herself...
