Good quality product! a bit expensive, but definitely worth it! since it's: cleaning, disinfecting (with lemon fresh scent), and lubricating your shaver's head blades so it will last a bit longer.

I have owned a smart, electric (rechargeable battery) Braun shaver for countless years and these are the cartridges I routinely use to clean the cutting surfaces after use. The liquid also lubricates and extends the life of the metal foils. There are 3 cartridges per box and 3 cartridges will last many months before a new box is required. I have a standing order with Amazon for new boxes of cartridges. I must have ordered several dozen boxes of cartridges over the years and encountered no problems with either the liquid or the cartridges, which fit into a special charging+cleaning station. I recently purchased a brand new, ultra-smart, electric Braun shaver, which is said to give a shave the equal of any manual, razor-bladed shaver. It, too, has a charging+cleaning station and it takes the same cartridges I have used for years. An excellent product and well proven in use.

Yes, some people will say that you can simply rinse your razor under a tap (if you have the waterproof models), use the cleaning brush, and lubricate the blades with oil yourself; but with the clean and charge dock it makes life so much easier as it does all this for you.There’s nothing better than the feel of a nice clean, lubricated and gentle lemon fresh razor each time you come to use it. Let’s face it, you’ve gone and spent a good amount on the razor itself, so why compromise on the aftercare. These refills cost about £14 for three, and if like me you shave most days (due to work regulations), or at the very least every other day, then these 3 refills will last you the best part of 6 months!After every shave I dock the shaver and hit the cleaning button, even if the system only says it’s down one light on the hygiene scale, I find it’s always best to let it do a cleaning cycle.If you compare the cost of these refills to the cost of a pack of blades for a well known brand of manual shave razors (that rhymes with ‘silhouette’), then personally I think these are pretty good value for money.If like me you’re prone to shaving rashes and irritated skin, then these are an essential must have! It’s not worth compromising your skin and comfort, for what equates to about 8p per day if they last you 6 months!

Cleans your Braun series shaver after use and makes the shaver smell nice.Purchased this pack as cheaper than buying singly. But It’s still not cheap...I did some research and found lots of Braun users making their cleaning liquid.So I purchased from amazon 70% rubbing alcohol and lemon essence oils and made my own.Not only does it last longer, it is so much cheaper. For the cost of buying one of these Refills I can make my own and it lasts 5 times longer!Let’s not forget that I’m doing my bit for the environment as not having to purchase more plastic containers as I use the original container, which I can use, clean and refill...

I have Braun’s Series 7 7865cc shaver that came with the clean and charge station. I only shave literally once or twice a week, so the cleaning cartridge has lasted me longer than the 3 months recommended to be fair.The cleaning station does do a cracking job, the shaver comes out shiny, well lubricated and smelling great and it’s easy just to pop it in and its done 15 minutes later.The cartridge did start to smell a bit off towards the end of its life and you can see lots of stubble floating around in it. The cleaning station also seemed to register as empty when it was pretty much half full, so you aren’t getting the maximum use out of each one which is disappointing.As a consumable that you have to change every three months, you are looking at around £20 a year, but no doubt these are high margin for Braun so not that cost effective for the consumer.
