ANKER Astro mini external battery 5200 mAh, E1 Series

I own several Anker products, an iPhone case charger, a wall charger, and a 10,000 mAh power bank and I’ve liked them all. All of them are high quality items with a good price; I’ve had no issues with any of them. The Anker PowerIQ technology they put in their products (whatever it does) actually works. The chargers are the fastest out of the multitude of wall chargers and power banks we have. The 10,000 mAh power bank is looking a little rough after 3 years of use but still works perfectly. It’s so popular around the house I rarely get to use it.So I bought this Anker Astro 6700 mAh just for myself and hid it away. It’s just as great as the other Anker products I’ve bought. It charges up my Xiaomi phone with a 4000mAh battery quickly to full power and still has a decent amount of juice left. It feels sturdy and it’s pretty compact. It’s slightly wider than half the width of the PowerCore 10000 with all the rest of the dimensions being about the same. It’s easy to pocket and still has plenty of capacity to charge any phone. One output is all I ever use so that’s not a bother considering it’s size. On the input side the 1A charging rate means it takes a while to fill it back up but it doesn’t bother me. I only use it once a day at most and then I charge it over night. It comes with a nice pouch to keep it form getting too beat up in your backpack that I will probably lose soon which is why I would have preferred the matte finish I have on the PowerCore 100000... it hides the dings and scratches better. But in reality, who cares? The dings and scratches just show that it takes a beating and keeps working. It’s a tool to charge your stuff, not a fashion statement.I think it’s a super power bank, I’m happy I have it. I would recommend this to anyone.

Purchased this as a gift for my spouse handbag, having had used one for over a year, now my every day carry, It is pocket-sized with minimal weight and comes complete with short charging lead and a carry bag.The unit has a power bar indicator visible through the bag to monitor charge remaining, instructions suggest charging at least every four months to prolong battery life.Easily does a full recharge of smartphone and would expect two full recharges. Larger capacity banks are available but with a penalty of increased size, weight and cost, it depends on your battery usage and charging opportunities, but must be a size you will carry.Most frequently used to support other's smartphones. I find it most useful when motorcycle camping for a few days when smartphone battery use tends to be high (Bluetooth use, phone connected to Scala helmet comms) and charging not practical.I also use for my Kindle, tablet, and Bluetooth speaker, very useful when these hit critical levels and not able to use mains and need to continue use.

I bought this to keep in my backpack for emergencies and after 6 years I'm still using it. The case has been robust enough to survive being knocked about in my backpack for years and it still gives me about an 80% charge of my phone after all this time.

Reason for purchase:- Wanted a lightweight portable device that could easily fit into my bag.- Brand was recommended to me by several friends.Pros:- Not heavy to carry around.- Small in size.- Comes with a cable to charge the device.- Charges phone quickly.- Lights indicate how much charge is left in power bank.Cons:- Bag provided broke quickly :(- Power bank shell is slightly prone to cosmetic damage if not in bag.Recommendations for usage:- If you have an iphone, you will need to use your usb charging cable in order to use this device. Instead of carrying around your normal 1/2 m cable, I suggest you buy a mini short cable to use with this power bank as it saves a lot of hassle and is less likely to bend and break!Customer Service:- Fast shipping.Would I repurchase?- Yes! This is obviously a well-trusted brand for portable chargers and I am impressed with my purchase's performance.- In the future, I'd like to purchase an anker power bank with a greater charge capacity for long-haul flights.

This is a great little power bank. It charges to full power in about an hour and a half (roughly) I can usually get two and half charges out of it for my iPhone, I would prefer more to be honest. Nonetheless it is so portable and sleek; it even fits in my pocket. It has four blue lights when fully charged and this indicates how much power is left in it before it’ll require re-charging. The lights gradually reduce from four to three, to two, to one, then it turns itself off when it requires charging. I’m very happy with the item. The first one that I brought was faulty. However I simply contacted the seller, who was very helpful and supportive; I eventually had it replaced. It’s definitely worth the money and I can tell that the sellers really puts a lot of time and effort into their products and providing the best customer service. I would certainly recommend this item and the company!
