So 6 may be overkill for the home chef but these are commercial grade. I have a low 12-inch wide stockpot and 4 fit in easily. These are great for ramen noodle management and keep the noodles from getting lost in the pot or overcooking. The long handle prevents scalding. These make placing the noodles in the bowls much easier. They stack for compact storage.

In hindsight, I wish I had purchased just 3-4 baskets. Overall, they are a solid addition to any kitchen for pasta lovers.

I purchased the item for obviously for pasta but they're so tall and bulky. They would require a huge pot and I could only fit 3 in the pot, so I returned them.

If you think you are fitting more than 4 of these in a boiling pot you are mistaken. I had to use a huge stock pot to fit 4 of the 6 in the package. Nothing wrong with them, just bigger than needed for Ramen portion.
