Vallejo Model Color 200 ml Acrylic Polyurethane Primer - Grey (Packaging may vary)

As you can see, I’m building Airfix kits and using Vallejo as the base primer.Goes through my airbrush incredibly easily and even though I’ve thinned it a little, it dries very quickly.Allow 12 hours before gluing parts etc, but you can paint top layers after about 2 or 3.Very economical to use and although I’ll probably eventually get through it, half the bottle size would have served me better.Great base coat.

Top tips shake well.. if you're spraying this stuff have some water at the ready and dip into it with a tooth brush, it helps with dry tip don't let the hopper get too low.Leave for 12/24 between coats it needs to harden. You can spray over it or brush paint once set hard. Provides a good base and removes any 3d printed lines pics are before and after spraying.

I've switched from using spray cans to my airbrush to prime models. This allows me to prime models all year round as well as indoors using my DIY airbrush booth.I've been using this Valejo primer for this job and it goes on nicely giving a good coverage and colour (after mixing with airbrush thinner and flow improver). I've also used this with a paintbrush for some bases.Overall this is a good sized bottle which will be much more cost effective than spray cans if you have an airbrush.

It's a very light grey almost white. Even lighter than light ghost grey which should by name be lighter. Not the darker grey pictured. Works great as a primer but disappointed with the colour and not worth returning by the time I pay postage.
