This was needed to add a sound card to a laptop to add external speakers. It just plugged into the USB port and immediately worked giving good clear sound to the external speakers. Great value and the narrow USB connector meant the usual items plugged in alongside were able to stay in position. At this price and level of quality it is a must for your shortlist if you need an external sound card.

I preferred to use this into my usb hub rather than put it into the speaker port on the front of my Mac mini. Keeps the desk cable free and clean looking.

Really good product. The adapter is recognized by Mac, Windows laptop and phone via a USB C adapter. The headphone jack sounds great with a low noise floor. The only downside is the microphone input is mono and I thought from the description it had a stereo line input.

This is very good value for money, I didn't think that I would be able to get a sound card for this price and it works very well.

My laptop has a single speaker/headset jack. I could send sound out, but I couldn't record any input. With this small and inexpensive USB sound card, I can now, and very cleanly. It was very simple to use. I just plugged it in and it was instantly recognised as a device I could use for recording.

Well, it certainly works "out of the box". I may need to do a little tweaking to get the right level etc., but this little gem has turned my camera mic (Movo VXR10) into a USB mic so I can record into Audacity etc. and do VO on my videos. Just what I needed. Oh, in case you need to know this, the green socket is headphones, and the red is microphone. It is marked, but hard to see.

The perfect (or as near perfect as you're likely to get!) affordable solution to solving the shortfall of some modern computers (particularly NUC's and Micro Boxes) that have no 3.5mm Audio Output Jack. Many of the latest Intel NUC's are not equipped with an analogue sound output, relying instead on the use of a Thunderbolt Hub which can be an expensive addition. This 'external sound card' simply plugs in to any USB (2.0 or 3.0) socket either directly mounted on the computer or via a USB Hub. It requires no drivers being completely plug'n'play (Note that I can only speak regarding Windows 10 and 11 in this respect) and provides both a Microphone Input and a Speaker/Headphone Output, each using a Stereo 3.5mm Jack. Sound quality is more than 'acceptable' but not audiophile quality - at this price you can't expect to hear the symphony orchestra turning over their music sheets!All in all, for the price - exceptional value when compared to the alternatives!

Stopped working properly 17 months after purchase, microphone is extremely quiet. I tested the microphone without the usb adapter and it works fine so it's definitely this product. Shame it worked flawlessly up till now
