Frankly, I doubt if what you're requested is possible, as this Q/A facility is just basic RTF.However, what I can tell you is that the chimes do have a lovely mid-range sound quality. We have them hanging from the base of a lantern, mounted on the exterior wall of our garden room. It's pleasantly relaxing to sit of an evening, listening to the chimes in the background. They're also a good indicator of wind speed, without having to step outdoors !I liked them so much, I purchased a set for my son.Thoroughly recommend.

Is it possible to hear the chimes before buying

Would these be too loud to hang 2mtrs from the back door?

We have them at our right outside front door, they get noisy when really windy. But it’s also nice hearing them & the tunes. But you can move them if too noisy for you. We only moved them when our area was due to get gale force winds.
