Worked well!
We received our second batch of Arcshell AR-5 radios at work - but they weren't programed to the same frequencies as the first batch. I purchased this cable. It came with a disc containing a driver. Install was a breeze. I hooked up to the working radio using this cable and CHIRP software, saved the current settings, hooked up the new radio, uploaded the settings and presto! it worked! Now I don't have to worry about frequencies when ordering radios.

Functionality & Endurance

No support for this from Arcshell
I have tryed to contact arcshell to resolve a problem with connecting and programming the AR-6 radios. My PC (Win10 and also Linux) can recognize the cable and assign a com port. I'm using "Chirp" to try to read the frequencies from the AR-6 which Chirp supports but error saying that the radio will not go into programming mode. Would like to get help from Arcshell if there is a step or procedure I'm missing. Searched the web but no sadly no luck.
