Q: Would you recommend these speakers for home music listening? i have a 500w power amp. thank you -

Hi Goce. The speakers are designed to be used on the road for dj use or in large places or clubs etc as fixed units , I would certainly not use them as monitors at home, these are large speakers my friend and take up a bit of room, unless your going be throwing wild parties and you have a big house then great . you would be better purchasing dj monitor speakers at half the size of these. What I was referring to regarding lack of power and baring in mind I used them for weddings, birthdays in venues , is the fact they are not 1000w output, more like 500 w ( 350w woofers, 150w highs ) so they were clipping when driven hard . They are powerful enough for what you want them for ( I think ) but not ideal dj speakers for clubs and venues which I need and as I say maybe too much for your use. I have now got a pair of Yamaha K12 , s 1000 w and these are far better than the JBL,s for my purpose. Hope this helps Trevor.

It means it does not require and amplifier.

No it’s just a single- monitor speaker. You can loop them, so audio wise you can do that, but it’s not sold as a psi.

Excellent performance with great output.

Bought a pair of these speakers. Their performance has exceeded my expectations.Have used them in a public event in a school field during sports events and they were sufficient for the 600 persons present Quality of sound is also great. They have excellent power output.

I am a DJ and do parties like weddings etc , I've been road testing these jbl eon 615 now for about a month. They ate light weight and easy to transport but sadly lacking in sound quality
