I do like this speaker - especially as it has an FM receiver as well as the Bluetooth functionality. I will never take a call in the shower but I do like to listen to the radio or a podcast in the shower. This works. It is pretty loud but it was a bit of a challenge against the shower. The case is almost soft to the touch and apparently it floats in water.... I have not risked that yet.I bought it for the shower but already someone has pointed out how useful it would be when you are playing golf (put you valuable phone in a plastic bag - waterproof). Put the speaker on the golf buggy (or flat part of the golf bag/cart) where it can be exposed to the elements. I play golf to get away from the phone but the water proofing opens up a range of possibilities.Pairing was a little fiddly on one device but it paired with my S6 pretty quickly and on my MacBook without a problem.The charging cable is NOT a mini USB so you need to mind the cable for this speaker. I used a label maker to put a label on the cable. Without the dedicated cable, this speaker will be difficult to charge. The cable is a minus (be careful - it could be a big minus). When the speaker is charged and disconnected from the charging cable, make sure you replace the rubber bung. If you don't, then the speaker is not waterproof. Cable aside everything else about this speaker is great.Given the price - I'd recommend this speaker.

I've had a good experience with this product.It pairs quickly and reliably to my phone, it's good enough quality for in the shower (it's no B&O but in the shower you're not gonna hear crazy levels of fidelity!) it's loud enough I can hear it over the rushing water, the suction is pretty good, it fell off once when it got soapy but I stuck it on dry and then I couldn't get it off with wet hands. The battery is good enough that in all the time I've had it I only charged it once, and the sound it made when it was low on battery freaked me out as I wasn't sure what was making the sound!One time I was quite surprised to find it was able to take phone calls when someone rang me when I was in the shower, I missed out the speakerphone function when I ordered it, the phone function worked well enough, I could hear the other person, they could hear me fine too.

I bought this specifically for use in the shower. I went through the reviews of this product and the other similar ones and felt this one was best. I noted the complaints about the suction pad but decided if this was an issue for me, I could sit it on the shower itself, so I wasn't too concerned.Sound - The sound is okay, it's not great, but it's absolutely listenable. Anything with very high notes might cause distortion, as you would expect, but you just have to manage the volume level - which you can do from the unit itself. Because it's with you in the shower (Assuming that's your use) you don't need it to be really loud. I would imagine in a public setting, using it as a speaker for all to hear, you'd find it a little annoying (With loud music), but any personal setting, there won't be an issue.Suction - First thing I did when I got this was try it. Stuck it to the door, fell off in seconds. Stuck it to the desk and a simple tap would dislodge it. Before putting it in the shower - I wet the base of the suction (just ran it under the head swiftly) and stuck it to the tile - and it's absolutely fine. It's literally been sat there for the last 24 hours without issue. Prying it off by sheer force was quite difficult, but it comes off instantly if you just pick the side of the suction pad and release the air. Overall if you're gonna use this anywhere, wet the base a little first to aid the suction cup.It's cheap, it's cheerful, it works and it's waterproof. Sound is good, not great and it does stick securely if you wet it. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong.

Bought this back in March and had absolutely no trouble with it until today! The battery lasted a good while, the sound quality was good. Was really impressed with this for the price. Now onto today, 31st July - used this in the shower this morning as usual with absolutely no problems. This evening I noticed a strange noise coming from the bathroom - the speaker (despite being switched off) was making a horrible crackling noise like it had been affected by water and no matter what I did I couldn’t get the noise to stop. It is now in the bin! Overall, for the price it is a decent speaker but don’t expect it to last forever!

I'm absolutely gutted to say that my beloved shower speaker no longer charges :( . It had only ever been charged once before and this would have been the second time but unfortunately it's stopped working. When I connected the charger first time round there was a tiny red LED to indicate that it was charging but this time nothing at all. I still had my fingers crossed that it may well still charge but I'm afraid not.I'm hoping that it was just unfortunate and my unit was just faulty because the speaker itself is fantastic! It was bought to replace one that just didn't have any bass behind it at all and this one totally lived up to my expectations. The sound was well balanced and clear with no distortion and I had put it through it's paces with a variety of music genres, it handled them all brilliantly! I'm so sad that the charging port gave up the ghost.My only criticism would be the style of charging port. I would have preffered it to be a Micro USB port for convenience, but it's a 3.5mm style jack pin which is a bit of a minor annoyance.I have still awarded this speaker the full five stars because it really was great albeit for a short time :(
