PRO:-Real wax on outside, for a very realistic look.-Light weight, think of a hollow candle!-Adjustable, to: "Hi" Flicker, "Low" Flicker, or Flicker-less with a solid "Steady" light.-Remote is handy, so you don't have to keep picking up and re-positioning candle, on tabletop, etc.CON:-What is the wick part made of? Upon looking and reading, BEFORE purchasing, it appeared to be a stationary piece and that lit up, internally. NOT SO! It's a thin piece (1" tall x 1/2" wide) of hard, resin like plastic and horizontally strung onto a thin wire piece; the wick "rides" back and forth and makes a slight "clacking" type noise. It was driving me batty!!!-As other reviewers stated, this real wax "casing" will melt and in no time, if subjected to high heat (think summertime outdoors), in direct sunlight, etc.-Reusable batteries are NOT doable, as they do not have enough "juice" (even when fully charged) to light up this already not-so-bright candle!!!CONCLUSION: For a $15 purchase, this is a BIG-FAT-NO. Returned!

Like the actual piece that moves for the candle flicker! Do be cautious, you should receive a remote and direction sheet on top of a clear plastic shipping protector, for each candle. I ordered 2 candles, yet only received a remote in 1 candle. Also a plus for me is the length of time the candle is on, may be chosen by me...2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. I may also dim the brightness, or set it in candle form, or light form. Therefore, only negative, at this point, is the missing remote.

The media could not be loaded.  Note: the height is measured to the tallest point of the candle.I'm pleasantly surprised by this candle. The outside is real wax and the light it gives off is a realistic flicker.The "flame" itself is a teardrop-shaped piece of plastic balanced on a tiny wire that moves back and forth when the candle is on (magnet and current?). The teardrop itself reflects some light when it moves making the flame look like it's changing sizes and at the same time reflecting light around itself giving the effect of changing brightness or flicker.The manual states that it can do 3 brightness levels, but I can hardly tell the difference between them. They all seem fine to me.The remote works well and comes with the battery included. The candle itself requires 3AAA batteries that are not included.I highly recommend this candle, and I would purchase again. Check out my pictures to see the teardrop.

Great. Looks like flickering candle. One problem -- the remote has stopped working!

Candles look great, very bright, very realistic…but it eats batteries!! Running two hours a night and batteries were dead in two weeks

I love this flameless candle it is safe to have around little ones and also kids with disabilities who like to play with fire, they can't do that with this. I also like the brightness of it and the way that it has a remote to change it from dim to bright,etc.

I use this for my morning prayer and meditation hour. I like that it has a remote control so that I can turn it on and off I need. It is not as realistic as a Luminera flamless candle, but for the price it does the job.

This is an exceptionally nice candle. The design is really aesthetically pleasing and the flame is realistic and calming. I have another set that has a hyper flame. I much prefer this one. I can’t tell any difference between the candle and light functions on the remote, but the brightness options are really nice. I haven’t used the timer options, so I can’t comment on that. I can say, without any hesitation, I recommend this candle 100%.

Candle arrived on time .. great value for money ,realistic looking several people thought it was real . Will definitely be buying again , can switch on and off without having to open the lantern door which is a bonus . Can use the timer if wanting to have automatic on and off . I love it . You wont be disappointed

Looks realistic enough in a ceramic holder. They were a fraction too tall, but since the top part is made from real wax, a knife can be used to trim the wax.

Candle looks good but package was missing the remote control. Am willing to adjust this review if I am to be sent a remote control.
