Q: Are these socks ture no show?

They are no show socks . But a little close to ankle socks.They fit most low-top shoes, but not for very low cut shoes.

Q: Do these socks leave an indentation around your ankle?

No, not for me. These liners don't reach my ankle as they have a bit lower profile on my feet. They aren't visible while wearing sneakers.

Q: Do these socks have a silicone grip in the heel?

Yes and they stay put. I'm very satisfied with these socks and i plan to buy more.

Q: my shoe size is 7. Do I order 5-8 or 8-11? I think sock size is not the same as shoe size.

It depends. I find they run a little small (they still fit but are snug lengthwise) especially when you first get them. They do stretch a little after time but it's not a lot. So if you don't mind a little snug the 5 - 8 should be fine, but if like me you don't like anything tight against your toes I'd suggest going up to the 8 - 11.
