Spigen Ultra Hybrid [Anti-Yellowing Technology] Designed for Pixel 7 Pro Case (2022) - Crystal Clear

I would recommend this as a pretty decent basic case. I have dropped my brand new Pixel dozens of times in a manufacturing environment. I have literally skipped it across hard uneven concrete like a rock across water and my phone, while having a few little superficial scratches, (I don't use as screen protector) it is still in wonderful shape. It definitely does color after a while, be aware. However, I would totally get another one. I am trying a sleek black one with a magnet and we'll see how I like that. Happy Shopping!

I got my brand-new Pixel 7 Pro in white and started looking for a clear case as the phone is gorgeous and I didn't want the case to hide it.I had Spigen cases in the past as well as cases from other brands, so I started browsing Amazon for clear cases as I'm not attached to a specific brand.I was a little bit concerned by the actual shape of the Pixel 7 Pro that requires the case design and fit to be very precise because the metal bar for the cameras in the back of the phone protudes significantly form the back of the phone and requires a perfect fit for the case.There are not too many clear cases for the Pixel 7 Pro yet, so I narrowed my search down to the Spigen case.The case arrived well packed and undamaged despite being in a small box. The back of the case is rigid with the sides being more flexible. It was easy to put the case on the phone and when installed, you can feel that it hugs the phone very closely and will not get out by itself. I forgot to install my SIM so I had to take the case off and while it took some effort, it was easy because the case sides have enough flexibility.I like the fact that the case is very slim and does not change the size of the phone much. The overall fit is perfect and the cutout for the cameras metal bar in the back is perfect and protects the metal bar with just an opening for the cameras themselves. This provides a small "bumper" over the camera bar that should protect the cameras in case of shocks in this area. Also protects the sides and part of the surface of the metal bar from scratches if you slide the phone over a rought surface.The front of the case is minimalist. The long side borders are at the same level as the screen and the short sides are slightly higher. I think that the idea is to allow easy "finger sliding" accross the screen without the case borders interfering. And the screen shock protection is provided by the short side's bumpers. I assume that the design decision was taken after some testing so hope it works. Future will tell.Usage of the volume and power buttons is not ampered by the case and they are easly operated and you feel them "click" very well. And the cutouts for the speakers, mike and USB plug are precise and exactly where they should be. As already mentioned, there is no cutout for the SIM trap so you need to install the SIM before to wrap the phone with the case.All together, so far, I'm happy with this case. Great fit, does not change the aspect of the phone and the protection features seems well designed. The price is also very similar to other cases.

The case is good overall. However it did yellow within a couple of months. Spigen was very good about exchanging it under warranty, claiming there was a manufacturing defect leading to the yellowing. Can't beat the price. I have dropped the phone a bunch of time and the case protected it. I also have armorsuit flexible screen protector on it.

Ordered this twice...my first one was Nov.2022 and the replacement just arrived (May 2025). Regardless of the discoloration seen in the pictures, I have dropped my phone NUMEROUS times in the last two and a half years and there's not a scratch on it! I also have a screen protector and camera protector on, and they fit just fine with the case. This is an awesome case!

Fit my phone well.Lasted 2 years before falling apart.The clear plastic back never yellowed.The bumper part was yellow within months. Disappointing.

I took the chance of being one of the first English (US) buyers and reviewers for this case... So here we go! I didn't want to cover up my new shiney white Pixel 7 Pro's design, so a clear case made sense. It adds some grip and texture as the Pixel 7 Pro is super slippery without a case. I generally prefer the grippier, flexible, raised edge and reinforced corners in cases. This case is sightly flexible, has reinforced corners, adds grip, but the raised edges are a bit lower than my old case (Ghostek, which was great, but they don't have clear cases) on my Pixel 3 (still a great phone btw). The top and bottom of the screen-side of the case are raised more then the sides (check pictures here and on product description). I assume this is for better usability of the edge swiping of the curved screen edges - I turn this feature off bc I prefer the 3 easy navigation buttons on bottom of Pixel screens. I would prefer the entire screen-side of the case was raised to match the top and bottom, but that's pretty a pretty small nit to be picked and I understand why most wouldn't like this for a curved edge phone. The case leaves the entire camera bar wide open, while covering the edged outline of it - I'm fine with that. I would say this is a simple yet sleak protective cover for those who trust they won't be dropping on rough surfaces and want to avoid too much bulk in a case. Overall, pretty happy with the case. Time will tell how well it holds up to drops and if it stays truly clear over time. I'll update this review if any negatives pop up.

UPDATEBy changing the settings, I don't HAVE to swipe from the edge. I have the three buttons on bottom of screen, sothe issue* is solved! This went on very easily and fits my Pixel 7 Pro perfectly. It's rubbery so it doesn't slip out of my hand. Love the feel of it. It's not super thick but I think it will protect the phone well. *HOWEVER my only complaint is that because it covers the very edge of the phone you can't swipe left swipe left and right from the edge. Easily fixed by changing gestures from swiping to 3 buttons (in Settings search for gestures). I love the case
