Nice construction, can use it with 12v with a minor modification.
Quality of construction is great. I got the version of this light that has the light sensor. I wanted to use it with my low voltage landscape lighting. It didn't work at first, but then I realized that the light sensor has to be bypassed. If you unwire the photo-sensor and just use the two wires (white and black) coming from the bulb socket, this works great on 12 Volt. You DO NEED A 12V bulb, like those used for RVs, not a 120V household bulb.

A beautiful addition to the front of our home!
This post lamp is exactly what I had been looking for! Our old lamp had to be left on all night as it had no dawn to dusk feature. Not only does this one have that feature but it, operates on one led bulb. We love the rain glass- looks so attractive, it was an easy install and the quality is very good. I do recommend this lamp!

Only lasted 90 days junk do not buy!! Photo sensor went bad and then the socket shorted!
