RuleReplacement Garden Hose Adapter

This fits any 1-1/8” outlet and reduces down to a standard water hose threads. Inlet side is just smith on the inside and is a super tight fit. Almost impossible to get on. If you take a few minutes to heat up the inlet side you can press it onto the bilge pump fairly easily. Excellent product for what I needed.

To replace an existing coupler

this will be the 4th replacement in 6 years and only gets used a couple of times, then it cracks and won't stay on the pump! One person here remarked that it isn't solar proof--the sun will age it prematurely so he paints and tapes it--taping did nothing to make mine last longer, just hid the crack til I went to use it and it blew off--cheaply made, high priced piece of junk!

First of all the product description is wrong. It is a male adapter for a standard garden hose. Secondly a 1 1/2 inch stainless steel pipe clamp dramatically lengthens the life of this product. The product works fine, but does have a finite life. You will always want to have one on hand as a spare.

I ordered this part 2 years ago and did not take it out of the box until this week! I had been using another, newer pump, but that failed recently.....so I opened the box with this replacement part and it slipped onto the Rule pump and now the old pump is working fine! I am very, very, very happy I was able to order this replacement part.

I needed this to attach to my pool cover pump to drain away the water. this part is the weak link since the other (over 5-10 years old) cracked. this was hard to find. but im glad I did! it works as needed.

Price is steep

Fits the bilge pump very well. Slips on seamlessly and appears to not leak. Didn't need any glue.

The adapter on our pool droid cracked over the winter. I was able to order the exact same model. It arrived within a few days. Fits perfectly.

The adapter doesn’t even have threads. Such a waste of money.
