Makes cooking meats easier
The media could not be loaded. This is a very useful device, especially when I’m not great with accuracy, particularly when it comes to temperature. This device assists me in obtaining the precise temperature required to cook meats evenly and thoroughly without drying them out. What I like best about this unit is that I can monitor the temperatures from a distance, so I don't have to keep returning to the kitchen to check on the oven or when I'm having a bbq in the garden. The meat thermometer has a good range of presets, including beef cattle, small beef, mutton, hamburger, pork, chicken, and fish. There are also five different tastes ranging from rare to well done. You can change the settings to suit your needs. Both the thermometer and the wireless distance amplifier require two AAA batteries. Overall, this has made cooking easier because I can leave the probe in place while cooking food on the grill or in the oven and monitor the internal temperature while receiving an alert from the amplifier.

The poorest product I have ever come across
It’s very rare that you come across a product that is truly awful, but that is one of them. Here are some highlights:1. It’s expensively priced (to put it in the quality price range) but is poorly made.2. It intimates that it can be used in a BBQ and wood oven environments but the probe cannot come into contact with flame.3. The probe is too large for anything but poultry4. The instructions are poorly translated and are often conflicting in dangerous areas.5. The product requires four AAA batteries (instructions indicate 27 needed!) and none are included.I really could go on and on, and normally I would feel a bit bad for such a poor review but I am angry about the lack of care and attention that has clearly gone into this. Avoid at all costs.

Versitile, plenty of presets, build quality is a little cheap.
The media could not be loaded. If like me, you’re a cook by temperature fan, then these devices are a godsend, especially as they’ve gone wireless. My original one has a steel cable and the monitor had to sit right next to the oven. I use it mainly for beef, lamb, chicken and the Christmas turkey. This one comes with the main monitor, Bluetooth probe, signal booster and instructions. You will need to get you hands on 4 x AAA batteries. The probe charges when attached to the monitor. It is relatively easy to use if you are going for the pre-set meat types of which there are 9, plus beef burgers. Then for each of those you can the select how you want them cooked. The options available for this are dependent on meat type. So for beef, you can go from Rare to Well Done. Whereas with Chicken, you can only choose between Medium and Well Done for obvious reasons. In addition those pre-sets, you can also program in your own. The best example of this is when I’m cooking roast beef. Due to the standing time, I like to set my own temperature lower than it should, as it will continue cooking. If I take it out at the right temperature, by the time I start cutting it, it’s going to be overcooked.I would always recommend using a normal thermometer to test the accuracy of these types of devices before use. If they are out, at least you know by how much. This one seemed to be accurate.I tested it at approx.12m, through some really thick walls, and there were no issues picking up the signal. The display is nice and clear and easy enough to read. You can turn off the orange backlighting if you want to conserve battery power. I would say the alarm was overly loud. The build quality could be better, the plastics are a bit cheap, and the kickstand a little flimsy. Other than that, it’s not a bad bit of kit.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

Very useful for pressure cooking and air fryers
Most decent probes comes with a cable which is thin enough to allow to close the door of the oven, or to fit a lid on a pot relatively tight. However, that is not a solution for monitoring meat in a pressure cooker, or for air fryers. This one work perfectly for that and I can even bring the receiver with me to other rooms, so to make sure not to miss the alarm. Also, not having a cable makes it useful for other applications too.I even used it to monitor the temperature of water when sterilizing shitake mushrooms substrate, which is a long process, in the garden. I was able to keep an eye on it directly from the house, which is 20 meters away. The max range is fine for most uses (up to over 250C).The probe can work continuously for several hours, so again fine for most uses in the kitchen. Not the cheapest option but it will do the job in situations where cheaper ones would not.

Gets you started In no time
The media could not be loaded. This is one of the most user-friendly products I have come across recently, every object that the user has to interact with has clear instructions on how to use it and what not to do with it. The Temperature measurement is accurate and makes sure that your meat is cooked through properly. I have no Cons for this product other than the batteries that are not included in the box.
