This sensor is very easy to set up and use with Home Assistant, with quick reaction to open/close. If you need to reset it, open the larger piece using the button on the side, then press and hold the button next to the battery compartment for a few seconds, the LED will flash red and then pulse blue to indicate pairing mode.The only issue I had was with the supplied double-sided tape, which eventually let the large sensor piece fall off. My solution was to use adhesive Velcro - which also makes it easier to remove for battery replacement etc.

Works with Echo 4th generation and most importantly doesn't drop connection unlike another cheaperbrand did. I'm using this with a Honeywell DualTec pir relay output to trigger motion on my driveway and alert Alexa to announce there is motion detected.

I'll be buying more of these. Unfortunately my door frame doesn't allow for a direct mount, but it still lets me know when the door changes state. Basically the frame sits about an inch proud of the door. If you're inclined you can cut a small block of wood to mount the trigger in line, but it doesn't really need it since you can just have it trigger when it changes.No app needed and super reliable as is typical with the zigbee stuff from ThirdReality.

Tried pairing it to smarthings multiple times and it never worked. I packed it up and was going to send it back when noticed it was showing on my smarthings list of items. Very odd. In any case, it is working.

Great Product. Fast setup with clear instructions. Strong adhesive is keeping it firmly to the door. No need for an extra hub if you have an Echo device with a ZigBee hub inside.
