Replacement fuel pump relay
My wife drives a 2013 Grand Cherokee (5.7L) and it started doing the problem with the engine just turning over and over and over. It does have the external relay, changing this part took 5 minutes. There was another recall on this in 2019/20 I believe, still going to have the dealer do that but will certainly ask them to give that relay back to me when they do the recall. Started fine with new relay.

Fixed my 2013 Dodge Durango 6cyl
This is the relay applied by Dodge in a recall to bypass and fix a fuel pump relay problem. The one in there failed and I was in a pinch so I checked YouTube on how to bypass this relay in the wiring box to the cigarette lighter port. That little trick got me home and many folks just keep it that way, but the car still didn't quite start up the way it should. This part was not available at any part stores.I was surprised by the low price and pleased to be able to find it. Exact match. Installing was crazy easy, the hardest part was undoing the bypass I had done in order to get the vehicle home. So far it has worked like a champ, though I might get an extra one, just in case.

Kind of fixed the jeep
Our 2013 5.7 hemi grand cherokee's relay got so bad I had to pop the hood and smack it to reset it almost every time I started it. This new relay worked for about 2 or 3 weeks before it happened again. Now it happens probably once or twice a month. Doesn't bother me. I just pop the push start button out woth my house key attached to the key fob and put the key fob in the ignition slot and turn it to on without trying to start it then turn it back off. Then use the key fob to start it while it's still in the ignition slot and it starts everytime. It took probably 1 minute to put in. I guess if this one quits I'll take it to the dealer for the relay fix. Or probably just buy another. I think it's easier then going to the dealer. 🤷♂️

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee external fuel pump relay fix!
My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was subject to a recall where the Dealership disabled the internal TIPM relay and wired an external one. The external relays were then subject to another recall due to failures. Mine failed after trying to get Jeep to service the recall but they claimed that the parts would not be available for months!!!! My Jeep was stuck in my garage and would not start until I found this part and took 5 minutes to plug it in (The hardest part of the fix was accessing the battery which is under the front passenger side seat). Many thanks for this part and NO thanks to Jeep.

OEM replacement - same part as recall fix.
Was an original Omron Relay- not some cheap knockoff. Was what Jeep used to address a fuel pump relay recall- so I figured that I should get the same thing. Addressed issues on non starting- engine turning over but non start.

Works in a 2012 Jeep GC that has been recalled for an external fuel pump relay.
Reference for Jeeps and similar vehicles: Easy to install. For Jeep's (and others) that have had an external fuel pump relay installed as per a 2014 recall. If your car has not had that 2013-2014 year recall, then it won't work as the failed relay cannot be accessed or changed. But this is just a stopgap as Jeep has recalled this relay and will replace it with something better in the summer of 2020. But if you have a Jeep (or similar) vehicle that has had the original recall done, then it is good to have a spare relay or two with you in case the old one fails, which it is likely to do. If it does fail, the engine will try to start but it won't catch all cylinders.

It fixed the problem
My 2012 Durango was having issues resulting from a faulty fuel pump relay - wouldn't start or would stall while driving. It was under recall (again - yes this is actually a recall for a recall) from manufacturer but dealership said the part was unavailable. The gal at the dealership had the same model as me and had been waiting nearly a year for this part. Viewing this as a dead end I looked the part # up on Amazon. This is the exact replacement for the part already in SUV. I was fortunate (?) enough to have already had recall #1 performed, which meant my relay was now external and easily reachable to swap the part out. If you didn't get the first recall work done, the job will be more difficult. My Durango is once again driving as it should.
