I have purchased this product multiple times to take handprints of my littles as they grow. The dough air dries quickly plans can be painted, or left blank, for perfect keepsakes. You can also poke a hole in the top and string some ribbon to make adorable ornaments (and cost-effective gifts!)Highly recommend.

Light weight and easy to mold. It dries rapidly so work quickly. I recommend covering whatever surface you model on with cling wrap. I made a mask and modeled it on top of a plastic mask for support. It was taking a long time to dry that way so I tried to separate them to allow air flow. My mask stuck and tore. Hence the cling film comment.

It was easy to use, but it cracks when it dries, so I have to fill in the cracks and let dry again

My kids LOVE this stuff. Especially great for helping my sensory-responsive ADHD child focus. Kids could sit and knead and stretch and mix colors with this stuff for hours.And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! You can also make models out of it like regular clay. It’s not as easy to mold, but it will eventually dry out and hold it’s shape in a more styrofoam-type consistency.Also, and I don’t have personal experience (yet) so don’t quote me, but my 7 year old insists that if you mix this stuff in to your concoction while making homemade slime (ugh), it creates something called “butter slime.” I don’t know what that is but there’s so many kinds of slime out there, if this is something that helps make slime, you know kids just love that.10/10 no reason not to buy this.IT’S NOT MESSY!!! It doesn’t crumble or dry up and get into everything like play doh!

This is amazing because me someone with sensory issues. This was so amazing. It felt so nice of my hands. All you had to do was just basically put a little lotion to make it softer but other than that, it’s really good and I loved it.

I value Model Magic largely for how lightweight and easy it is to work with. I primarily use it for creating accessories for costume props - Fake ears, tools, items, decorations, etc.Painting can be tricky; be careful it's not too wet, and be very patient after that first coat is on. If you do too much at once the clay soaks up the water and can become slimey on the surface (and thus make painting a pain!).I have found doing a single coat of acrylic paint to prime it, waiting several hours, then painting as I please does just fine to secure the foam-like clay against moisture from painting. I use spray-on clear coat to seal it at the end, if needed.It doesn't hold detail very well, but on the flip side is VERY easily marked. Mind your fingernails when handling, hue!I often sculpt the main body of a design and let it harden, then sculpt the additions and super-glue them in place. Super glue is very effective for bonding pieces together.
