The best manual caulk gun.
These are solid, durable, and give you excellent control.I have a higher leverage Cox gun that says "Made in England" on the casting. This one does not. In fact, it lacked any country of origin info on the packaging as received.I ordered two of these, but they arrived in damaged condition, with the worse of the two (returned) having significant paint damage and a level of functional impairment. Needs better packaging.Otherwise this is a great gun. It has good control, stops on a dime, and can handle anything. Also serviceable: I've taken one almost entirely apart for cleaning before.

This is the best caulk gun I have ever used
This is the best caulk gun I have ever used. I have two of them and neither on has ever slipped. Plus, they have the option of either letting the pressure off automatically when you let pressure off the lever or it can be set to keep the pressure on the tube of caulk or adhesive whatever you are using. It is a simple tool less process just slide the plastic clip up or down. The gun has plenty of power for all but the worst tabes of dried out cask, in fact I have had caulk push past the plunger by putting too much pressure on a tube that is plugged.Even if I didn't use this professionally, I would still own one of these over a cheapy for home use. Definitely worth the money if you need a caulk gun for any use!One tip, spray the metal portion of the caulk gun that goes into the tube of caulk with WD-40 (or similar) then if caulk does get past it easily peels off the gun once it is dry.

Sturdy, easy to use, quality gun
The trigger action is smooth, far smoother than any of the cheap caulk guns you get at the big box stores. The mechanical advantage made dispensing thin beads very easy, even for thick adhesive. The pressure release takes a little getting used to, but using it was second-nature long before we got to the end of the first tube of caulk. It's heavier than the cheap caulk gun it replaced, but not so heavy as to be a problem. It's sturdy enough that I can't imagine needing to buy a second one, but if I do, I'll buy a Cox again, hands down.

Super duper caulk gun
If you are tired of the $5 caulk guns or the fancy looking China made ones - then this is the caulk gun for you. Not much to love about caulking but I love to caulk with this gun. Quality made and easy to use. Last caulk gun you’ll need

Terribly Disappointed
I work as a professional handyman, so quality tools that just work are essential. I am of the opinion that you invest in good tools and they will serve you well. One of the tools that drives me up a wall are those cheap caulk guns that keep on extruding caulk after you let off the trigger. Sooo, my son, who is a glazier, said they use Cox caulk guns on their jobs. He told me they are the best, and that are drippless. So, being one to invest in my tools, I gladly paid the $30 for this caulk gun, and like a kid at Christmas, couldn't wait to try it out on the job, until I tried it out on the job. I will say that the gun is made to be sturdy, and the trigger is wonderful, but after you let off the trigger, and even when you hit the pressure release, IT KEEPS ON DISPENSING CAULK! This takes 5x as long to clean up, as the caulk gets everywhere. My return period has expired... bummer. Sherwin Williams has one for about $15 that I would recommend you consider before the Cox.

Missing Feature
Very nice gun. Good flow control! Missing feature tip cutter! It would be a nice addition. Also, the puncture tip wire should be stiffer. It has the stiffness of a #10 wire - always bending. These improvements would make it excellent

Sturdy and Made in USA.
Works great! It is very sturdy and has a good weight to it. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The trigger is smooth and there is a nice release button in case the caulk still continues to run after releasing. Very good product. Would recommend
