I don’t write very many reviews, but I’ve got to say some thing about these little closers! I installed eight closers in under eight minutes. (I watched a 34 sec YouTube video.) They work perfectly! Several years ago, we had our kitchen remodeled, and I asked for soft closing hinges. In addition to whatever I paid for the hinges themselves, I also paid $800 in labor for 23 cabinet doors! Ack!! I am writing this review and absolutely cringing! I could have installed these closers on all of my cabinets and under a half an hour and for under $100! If you want soft close cabinets, I think it would be a miss to not try these! (Be sure your current hinges have the little square opening in the middle.)

This is hands down my favorite purchase! Our house is 13 years old and as my kids have gotten older the sound of slamming cabinets is like nails on a chalk board!I was in the middle of restraining our wood cabinets and tried to find soft close hinges to replace our and couldn’t find them any where when I came across these!(insert fireworks!!) so simple and easy it just snaps right into your existing hinge and boom! You have soft close cabinets in seconds! I only put one per door but you could always put one on each hinge if you wanted!

Im thrilled to have soft close in my house without having to refit all my hinges! Picked this seller because it they have the most reviews. Going to try another seller as I purchased 2 packs (16 dampers) and one was broken.

Ordered 8 of these for Blum full overlay hinges after reading reviews. Hinges are all the same and were installed 15 yrs ago. Have been looking for a simpler solution to dampen the door slam vs replacing all and thought to educate myself on these and try them out. Great idea in theory. I was warned by other reviewers. Of 8, got 4 to grab (while standing on my head and rubbing my belly). Unfortunately, for no 1 cabinet was I able to get 2 to grab, 1 on each side to really get a sense of what it would be like if they worked. For giggles, I popped one off to see if I could get it to regrab and could not. In the end, I just stuck a piece of folded up paper between the cabinet doors (like you do in a restaurant under a table when it's wobbling) and it dampened the sound just fine. For anyone who got these to work, more power to you and you have better luck than I. Returning these and look forward to the day when I get the chance to remodel perhaps a future home and make the right decisions around hinges and drawer slides. Major oops.

Where have these been all my life? I received these soft close mechanisms last night and effortlessly popped them onto my kitchen cabinet door hinges in seconds each and walla, no noise! I've lived in my house for over 6 years and never knew about these or would have been enjoying less door slamming noise years ago. I just ordered another 8 for the rest of my cabinets and in the laundry room.

We love our soft close hinge adapters! Overall, they were easy to install. We had trouble with 2 of them (out of 47) and were unable to get them installed. Could’ve easily been our mistake. Would definitely recommend.
