Lunar Tides Semi-Permanent Hair Color (43 colors) (Fuchsia Pink, 8 fl. oz.)

SO pleased!! It worked better than I thought (it seems like one of those dyes that isn't pigmented enough to deposit color at all so I was admittedly skeptical) and this was not even on freshly bleached hair! My hair color was a very light blonde (I had a different light silvery deposit only color in prior that had completely washed out), but this makes it look like I even lightened my hair. Its also super soft, I rinsed it and put in k18 so I think it would have been even better than it is if I had not done that. You will probably have to be a lvl 10 to use for this effect, but IF your hair is light enough to begin with, it gave a great result! Will definitely purchase again.

Impressed af. I've mainly been a Manic Panic brand girly and I still love them, but I opted to try Lunar Tides.. mainly out of curiousity. I got this green color and the bright orange. The orange did not impress me, it didn't stay in my hair for anything.. but this green!! OMG. It holds in my hair SO well and I love that. I wash my hair about weekly, rinse 1 to 2x inbetween and I have a good color from this for over 2 months. Even the fade out doesn't look horrible imo, it gets very pastel at some point. I would buy the green again, not the orange though for my hair. But try whatever color you're seeking, everyone's hair reacts differently to different dyes.

This stuff blew my mind. I’ve used so many brands of semi permanent color and this one washed out completely clear! How??? No purple running in the shower it was mind blowing. The orchid purple appeared super bright in the jar. I have dark hair but my previous purple washed out and I had some slightly bleached highlights I wanted to turn purple again. I did a spot test on a small piece and left it in for 30 min. It was a much deeper purple than I expected and not bright at all. So I went for it and covered my head, opting to keep it in for an hour since it wasn’t touching my scalp and I wanted it to be deeper color than the test spot. Unless it fades super fast, I can’t imagine anything being better than this! It had no bad smell at all, and yes- there were purple dye marks on the towel I was resting my hair clips on while I added dye to sections of my hair carefully, but no kidding, once I washed it out ZERO color leakage. Where did it go??? The dye is thick so it’s best applied with a coloring brush in sections. I had to rinse really good because I couldn’t tell if it was still in my hair since all the water was running clear!!! Incredible sorcery. Truly magical.

I wasn’t sure how this product would work on my hair. I didn’t really have high expectations, but I’m really impressed. It’s important to note that my hair is naturally a dirty blonde and had NO previous dye in it. Because of this I knew that the probability of it sticking wasn’t very high. I knew it wouldn’t be neon, but I am so so happy with how it turned out. Will definitely purchase again. It did stain my hands for a few days, but I don’t really care about that.

Cranbaby was THE EXACT color I envisioned: berry-colored, or cool reddish pink! One pass with the dye came out pretty even, but stained EVERYTHING I owned. My hoodie's hood was tinted pink. My neck was PINKKK for days because of the dampness after a fresh wash and friction from my hair. The collars of my shirts turned pink in the back.I didn't tone my hair, so I knew it would come out a little warmer. However, whenever I washed it, the dye would be an orange-red or hot pink.Now, after a few more washes, the original orange tone I had underneath is more visible. My goal was to use a cool-red in hopes it would balance out the warmth after a bleach bath (color theory, yk), but I feel like the base of this color isn't perfect for that.My biggest complaint is the SMELL it leaves on my hair. It smells so weird? It reminds me of stale hairspray on freshly ironed hair or something? I've tried other dyes and never had this issue. Speaking of which, my hair took well to other dyes like Arctic Fox, Unicorn Hair, and GDY. However, this didn't feel as conditioning to my hair.Overall a bit disappointed, but maybe this will be better for others! So sad it didn't work out.

I may change my rating later. I LOVE the color. However it should be noted that I had to leave it in my hair for 2 hours before rinsing in order to actually get it to work (and cold water, whereas previous dyes worked and lasted even with warm water). We will see how long it lasts after the 2 hour attempt. I will try to update. If it lasts a while, I will probably update to 5 stars.

Very very very disappointed. I know that gray/white hair is resistant to color, but this came out NOTHING like the picture. I've been using the fushia pink for a while, which was coming out a dark pink and looked almost red, but I wanted something darker that wouldn't fade to such a cotton candy color.This... this is a very dull and pale orange brown. Like a faded brick color. On literally white hair.And I really don't have time to screw with it, try to recolor it and hope for a better result, much less time to order a new color and wait around. This took nearly two weeks to get here, and I have to look good at the thing on Memorial Day.I guess I could get some Artic Fox at Sally's and try to cover this up in the next day or so. Just SUCH a hassle to wash and not condition etc.
