AUDITORY PROCESSING DISORDER APD

APD unravelled
Very good book, written with knowledgeable information from an easy to understand perspective. I would have given 5 stars except as is the case with most literature (the first/second chapters) are not based on Australian systems where ASD is still not really recognised by paediatricians as a separate disorder from ASD and ADHD and APD testing is far more limited. Nevertheless, it’s still helpful to understand what is available in other countries. The rest of the book which l have read so far is excellent and confirms behaviour which has been presented to me.

Without a doubt, the best book about APD that I have found.
I pre ordered this book and wasn’t disappointed when it arrived. Alyson Mountjoy has a wealth of knowledge about APD and this book is testament to that. This is definitely going to be a book that I refer back to in the future and will recommend to parents, professionals and anyone who has APD. This book is informative and well laid out. I have know doubt that it will be a great resource for many families and professionals. I 100% recommend this book.

Brilliant book- a must by
Brilliant and helpful book. It creates a wonderful, deep and thought provoking insight in to what it’s like to have APD and sensory complications. It’s covers diagnostics, diagnosis, acceptance etc. Couldn’t recommend enough and has helped me so much to better understand my child

Fantastic book on APD
A well written book that is very clear to understand. I especially likes the case studies which I can relate to. This book should be in all school as a point for reference for all staff to support a child with APD. It will become my go to book. It is a condition that is largely unknown until you have a child diagnosis or suspected of having APD. Thank you to the Author Alyson Mountjoy for this book.
