We live in the tropics...and my husband sweats more than most people, so he dehydrates and cramps easily. He works outdoors, so this is a serious issue. I have actually measured 3/4 cup of sweat pour out of a single work boot of his after 30 minutes of outdoor physical labor. He has tried regular salt pills, electrolytes in a camel pack, etc.. and has still been hospitalized due to the extremeand rapid dehydration he deals with. THIS prevents all of that. Yes, he still has to drink plenty of fluids and take the occasional salt pill...but as long as he takes these cell salts every morning, he doesn't get severe dehydration, even though he still sweats far more than average.
