It’s hard to believe that these things cost over $100 plus labor at your car dealer. This one was exactly like my GMC key fob. Mine is the GMC logo. It is easy to disassemble to insert the battery, and includes a really handy instruction card for how to program. You do need to have all the other existing programmed key fobs at the same time to program with a new one. But in most GMC vehicles after 2017 you simply set them together in the cupholder hold down the start button on one and start the car. The new one automatically learns the signal. That’s all there is to it. I’m so glad I discovered this. I didn’t shell out a huge amount of money to my local car dealer. Make sure it fits your GMC model and then go for it.

This came with a website link about how to install, but the instructions aren't very clear. I should've done this as soon as I got the fob, but life got busy; my fault on that. Since the return window closed, I'll end up buying another one and throwing away the one I got.

The remote was defective, once the locksmith programmed the fob, the truck wouldn’t start with the original fob, then upon reprogramming both keys, the truck went into anti theft mode. Only way to get it back to working was remove the fob purchased here. It was attempted 2x with the same result, even the GMC dealership attempted to program it to the truck, same results.Faulty fob. Save your money and buy direct from the dealership to save yourself some money and hassle.

The first fob we received wouldn’t pair with our Yukon. I opened up the fob and noticed the battery was leaking. I replaced the 2032 battery with a new one and it still would not pair with the vehicle. I ordered a replacement and had the same issue. After many attempts it would not recognize the fob. I ordered a fob from a different seller and that one paired without any issues.

Literally….no pairing whatsoever!!! Time I won’t get back after many attempts. Returning it straight to Kohl’s for Amazon Returns ASAP!!!!
