Not a direct fit on a 98 civic sedan front door
Sound quality is crisp/sharp, does not fit 98 civic sedan front door , you will need to fabricate to fitOverall a good buy and great quality .

Need to run over 50w + 2 month update
For the price point they sound pretty good. But you will need to run over 50 watts to enjoy. Also recommend a decent head unit to control the cross over. The " built in filters " are not very efficient. Mids are poppy as they should, lows are decent, high need to be fine tuned. But 2way 6.5 for under $50 they are not bad. If you run 50w and below too these and crank the volume, you will blow these. They need over 50w of power for best performance.So had these for about 2 months now. Running about 50w maybe a few less to them. They now sound much better. Every speaker takes a usual 40 hours of play time to break in at normal volume. Pretty crisp, and the lows have became deeper and richer. Cranked them up and still has some distortion, but might need to add another 25 watts to clear it up. 50w min, 75 watts or 100w should be sweet sport for each speaker.

Good door speakers
If you have a tahoe the speaker guard will not fit, but they sound amazing even at full volume

Great speakers
I replaced my factory soundbar speakers in my 2010 jeep wrangler jk with these and the difference is amazing. These speakers are way better than factory and look a lot cooler than stock. They do not fit factory mounting holes so you will have to drill. Also I had to buy an adapter to plug into the factory speaker harness. I can't wait until I finish getting everything for my system.

Just average, nothing special, aesthetically pleasing. That's about it.
Back way off on the bass (crossover) or they will breakup but they need power to achieve any reasonable db level. Will have to add eq even though I prefer to keep everything flat. They are great looking speakers and they are visible so I bought them for that reason and hoped they would perform better.... ah, no. They did not. For the price they are perfect.BTW, they come with a gimmicky rubber cover on the magnet, had to cur it off to install
