It does prevent scratches on my door, but does leave glue adhesive when you take off. Hard to get off wood. Takes a bit of work.

When I pulled this out of the package, I loved the thickness of the material. I was a little concerned over using these adhesives, but it said they were meant to be applied to any surface so I figured it should be okay. I was wrong. It ruined my door and now I’m going to have to figure out what color the paint is for my door and go buy it. I’m disappointed in the quality. It didn’t even last 48 hours.

My wiener dog scratches at the front door constantly when we leave, peeling the paint off the door. This has now been on my door for a year and a half. It hasn’t moved and hasn’t caused any destruction to the door. This is durable and you get the value for the money.

Our new puppy was scratching at the door we used to while he was training to protect our black door. If it gets super cool at night and then warms up during the day it will sometimes fall off which is annoying and roll up. But for the price it serves its purpose.

My dog loves to scratch on the front (wooden) door, and has ruined a few. This appears to have solved my problem! It's very easy to stick, using the little double sided sticky pads. I thought at first that it wouldn't stay in place, but it sticks very well. I cut it to the size I needed, and it's almost invisible. She can scratch the heck out of it now, with no door damage. I definitely recommend.
