Quality, Good Design, Accurate and Faster Typing, Best Features
Love that my 2 HP 450 keyboards are very conserving on desk space compared to earlier wireless.Don’t need the fancy shapes and big logo clutter. Sleek and minimal is good for me.This model gives more accurate typing than a nearly identical HP keyboard that I compared it to.Has a Function Lock Key. This is very important in Excel and many other applications.Additionally Function Keys are aligned with the Numbers keys and placed above the corresponding number;this greatly aides in hitting the correct function key as the numbers on the numbers keys are large enough to see.Caps Lock and Function Lock keys have lit indicators. This is very helpful.Love the Calculator and Session Lock buttons. KEY CLICK is a little louder compared to an older HP keyboard. However it was really not significant and I got used to it after a short amount of time. One gripe is that it comes with NO INSTRUCTION on what all the special keys do and not all the pictures are intuitive.I will continue experimenting to discover the others.HP 430 is the best mouse I have ever had. Wisper quiet, very accurate and responsive. Well Worth the money for those qualities alone. The 430 I put on my win 11 computer loaded the drivers in the blink of an eye. If you have Win 7 you will have to go through contortionsto get the drivers. Both UnitsThe On-Off switch makes cleaning the keyboard and mouse safe as well as saving battery life and being a good obstacle to pets or housekeepers keyboard pounding.

I Love this Keyboard!
I love this keyboard. I am very particular about keyboards and I tried several before settling on this one. Connectivity was simple, it has all the functionality I need in a smaller form factor and the tactile feel is perfect for me. There is just enough response without being clicky-clacky noisy,

Programming keys is harder than expected
The HP 450 Programmable Wireless Keyboard, Black (4R184AA#ABL) is an excellent keyboard. It has good touch response and a good assortment of extra functions. However, the instructions for setting the programmable instructions are miserable. At least for myself, I had to read them over and over again at least 10 times until I finally stumbled upon success. And the programmable feature was the main reason I bought this keyboard. for the last 10 years I enjoyed a different programmable keyboard but in Windows 11 that old one was no longer compatible. Once you pass the mystery of how to program the keys, it's great!

Super buy
Love this keyboard! Super easy to use, very lightweight and slim. Easy to connect. The design is super sleek, quality is great and battery life is GREAT! I have used it every day for work since I bought it and still have not had to change the batteries. (I bought this in August '24 ya'll!).

Does not work - Never had a wireless mouse or keyboard not work by just inserting the USB receiver.
The keyboard is just not working - isn't it supposed to be plug and play. I will be returning it as I spent 2 hours just trying to make it work. Terrible experience.

Best feature: the microphone mute/unmute key
It is a great and affordable keyboard. The best feature is the mic mute/unmute key, really useful during conference calls. It was also easy to customize some keys using the 'HP Accessory Center', a piece of SW you need to install to make use of all those features.I liked it so much that I purchased a second, spare one, in case the first one stops working in the future and this exact model is no longer available to purchase.Make sure to research prices in multiple outlets, since they vary a lot. Another useful piece of information is that the 'HP 455 Programmable Wireless Keyboard for business' is exactly the same product, in different packaging and different warranty terms, that's the model I saved as spare.

Lack of a Print Screen key on the HP 450 Programmable Wireless Keyboard
This is a nice wireless keyboard. It is a bit small from what I am use to. I like where the speaker keys are located. The thing I did not like is that it was very confusing on how to program a key. You have to download a special app and I guess some settings had to be changed on the computer. I did not want to do all that. The key I was wanting to program to have on the keyboard was the 'print screen' key since there was not a key labeled that on the keyboard. It was all just too much trouble so I sent it back.

Good layout and form factor; terrible key feel
I've preferred nothing but HP keyboards over the years, great bang for your buck, however the previous model's I've loved are no longer being made, found this being their latest and was happy with the compact size and layout. But the keys. I don't know how they ruined the keys. They *feel* cheap, they creek like plastic rubbing on plastic. It's terrible, a few times keys have stuck. For gaming there were certain combinations of keys that the keyboard just couldn't perform, which was again not an issue with their previous keyboards.I don't know why, but this is just such a big step backwards.
