I have a phobia that I will break on of these plastic oil caps and leave a family member stuck for a day until get a new one. So I always pre buy and just keep it in my collection. I am up to 5 for different brands of cars. I have done many oil changes and never have broken one. You know the odds of I have it I won't need it but if I don't have it none will be available when I do need it. My son just got this Prius so we are planning on changing the oil soon and wanted to have it on hand.

My existing filter housing is pretty mangled from the oil filter pliers grabbing it after 20+ oil changes. I feel like some day it might actually wear through the housing so I picked this up as a spare. Looks like an exact match!
