Only put a few hours in the steamdeck since I installed the fan. I can't hear the fan at all. When it's really going I can hear the whoosh of the air, which does have some volume. It won't make your deck silent, but you won't have to hear that whine anymore.

Same fan that is on iFixit and other sites for quite a bit more. Installed in my steam deck and the fan whine is gone. My wife has stopped shooting me nasty looks on the couch when the fan ramps up!!

Bought to replace my fan that had bad bearings.First fan came DOA, I put it in and screwed the case shut, only to find I was locked at 400mhz with rising temps. The fan wasn't spinning.I took it apart and put the old fan back in, all was fine.I did an Amazon return and got a new one shipped ASAP. This time, before taking the old fan out, I unhooked the plug, and plugged in the new fan, then started the Deck to make sure it worked. It did. So then I finished the replacement, and now my Deck is whisper quiet! I never knew it could be this quiet.4 stars because the first one was DOA, but otherwise it's a great fan.

Purchased one of these for my steamdeck which came with a Delta fan. Previously it was a jet turbine on bootup and would ramp up doing things like downloading updates for games. Once you get into games, it was ridiculously loud.Swapped out the existing fan with this one (Huaying) and I thought it wasn't working it was so quiet. I tried a couple games with low requirements and couldn't hear anything, finally ran something to get the CPU/GPU going full bore and heard the fan but it was just fan noise instead of annoying fan noise. Totally bearable now.The fan itself came in bubble wrap (unsealed) inside of a labeled brown cardboard box which finally was shipped via a bubble mailer package from Amazon.

Drop in deck replacement that worked perfectly and stopped the annoying whine that's notorious for the delta fans. Next to a stock steamdeck with the good fan from stock it's exactly The same as near as I can tell.

I bought this fan since I had a Delta fan with the annoying whining noise when it sped up. I purchased this fan since I read about Huaying fans being quieter in terms of the whining noise, but I wanted to get it on Amazon for the quicker shipping. I installed this fan and it did get rid of the whining noise at higher speeds, but that's about all it did. It was still loud at high speeds (I will say, it was quieter though), and it actually caused my entire steam deck to slightly vibrate at high speeds.Out of curiosity, I purchased the fan from iFixit, and after installing, the new fan is way quieter and does not vibrate at all.Be wary when buying this fan, since it can cause vibrations during use. At first I didn't mind it, but it got really annoying.

I bought this so that I could use the Antank Steam Deck Power Bank without issues. It works as intended.

Replaced Delta fan in my Steam Deck and it's much easier on the ears at high RPM.

Replaced my Delta fan with this Huaying fan and I couldn't be happier.

Arrived way faster then expected. So much quieter then stock fan. Exact same version iFixit sells

Was a great replacement but around the 6 month mark the bearing went and while rotating the steam deck it would wobble and make annoying noises. Had to replace.
