This light fell from where I tried to place it.The light is good, it's definitely bright enough to illuminate the area I placed it in. But the included adhesive pads don't work at all. To be clear, I was adhering the light to a wooden cabinet, so it's not a rough or uneven surface by any means.The product page states this light comes with adhesive metal to magnetise the light - it doesn't. It instead comes with these 3M foam sticky pads. I thought I did a good job of sticking the light where I wanted, but I was working the next day and I head a loud clanging sound. It sounded like someone had thrown something against my door but no - it was this light coming unstuck from it's position, falling onto my quartz countertop.Taking a look at what went wrong, it looks like the sticky part of the included foam pad is just a thin layer applied to craft foam. This light has fallen twice now, but the included adhesive pads have left what feels like glue on my cabinet, while the foam is now not sticky, but permanently attached to the light from the other adhesive side.It really has a nice brightness and light to it, and the ability to cycle through colour temperatures is nice. I wanted to review this higher, but since it doesn't stick vertically to surfaces like advertised, it's a defective product. One star.

Even in an empty room, the motion detector keeps turning the light on. I see a little light coming out of my closet, on.. off.. on.. off..Also the adhesive is too weak to hold the light onto the wall, it just falls off.

I got these lights to provide light in my pickup truck canopy area, when I'm putting something in or getting something out of the bed at night. The 3M adhesive discs didn't stick very well to the uneven surface on the canopy inside (rough fiberglass) , but they should do fine with a smooth surface, such as a cabinet surface. After all, the instructions do state they should be stuck to a smooth surface. For the rough surface, I'll just get some of the red "high stick" 3M adhesive discs - not a big deal. The lights come with two 1" steel discs per light that you stick to the adhesive disc for the "permanent" side of the installation, then the lights have internal magnets to stick to those steel discs.The lights produce a glow, and provide more of an area light, than a direct spot light. The adjustments between the three colors are very easy with a touch of a finger to the sensor, and adjusting the light level is also very easy, just put your finger over the sensor, and the light level will fall and rise to your desired level. For my purpose (inside the truck canopy), a light an each side produces plenty of light to see what I'm doing. For use as a nightlight or under-counter light at night, they should very adequate for that purpose. It's bright enough to be able to read a label on the counter, but don't expect these to be really bright - there are other lights out there more suited for that. These are small enough to light up the inside of a cabinet or closet, just about any place you need some supplemental lighting.The three lights come with two short USB-A to USB-C cables, but no power supply. In this day, everyone probably has plenty of those lying around. Two cables is probably adequate, as all three lights probably won't end up needing recharging at the same time. Full charge takes 2-3 hours, depending on how run down the batteries are.

These are relatively small lights -- shorter than many on the market -- but that's okay if they fit your application. I also appreciate that the leading descriptor for them highlights their potential for closet use rather than (or more than) a placement under a cabinet to illuminate a work surface. For navigation or for locating items in a closet, they are adequate (and the price is also not too steep). But even if you placed several of them end-to-end, they would not produce all that bright of a work area.There's also the issue of their strange response to motion sensing. As another reviewer has noted, if the lights are set to AUTO, a wave of the hand will turn them on only if the area is fairly dark. That works for a nightlight, but not for undercabinet use! I generally want kitchen counter lights on to fill in the shadows under a cabinet -- including during the day. These lights won't come on if my ceiling fixtures are on, and this feature defeats the purpose of the Auto setting. I have other lights, similar to these, that have a dual Auto setting, so that they can be set to ignore the ambient light and be reliably activated by motion, regardless of the relative light or dimness of the room. This is a significant design flaw, in my opinion.
