What a handy little item! It has the option of also plugging it in but so far, I haven't needed the extra power. Power cord isn't included but Amazon has some great adaptor sets that come with all different sizes so buying one shouldn't be a problem especially if you don't know what you need (like me :)) I LOVE that I could now hide all my wires behind my table. I was surprised that it has some weight to it. I haven't had any problem with lagging. It's nice to be able to turn things off and on as needed. I have my Cricut machine, printer and scanner going - usually 2 of the 3 at the same time with no issue at all. I'm happy with the quality and power and it's nice to be able to buy something like this and I don't have to settle for industrial!

This USB hub is exactly what I needed to organize my cluttered workspace and add ports for my laptop .It has exceeded my expectations! A dollar something per port!The seven ports are intended for USB-A, which is the most common type of USB. The base is small, very lightweight, and would be easy to transport if needed to be. Next to the USB ports are the on and off switches. It's a very straightforward product. You just plug into your device, and can plug in the accessories from there with zero connectivity issues.What I currently have plugged into this product: The mouse I used to visit this site, the keyboard I typed this review on, and my microphone (which has worked as intended without any kind of input lag).

it works fine as a usb hub for windows 11it's a bit quirky though but I like the on/off switch option that is built into this product.when you plug stuff in, you have to plug it in in a certain order, closest to the wire first and then down as you fill it with usb devices. if you go right to the end of the usb hub (the part without the wire running into it) windows will give you an error the the device has malfunctioned, but it doesn't happen as long as you are plugging things in a certain order (closest to the wire first, then down).also it says it supports portable HDD external drives, but with the external HDD i have it needs to take two usb ports if i use this hub. where if i plug it in directly into the computer, i only need one usb input. so I assume it depends on what type of external HDD you have, but for me it's pointless to use up an extra usb input so I'm going to keep mine plugged directly into the laptop i bought this for (my laptop only has two usb inputs so i needed this product).but like i said, other than those two minor things, this is a great product.oh and also, if you bump into the usb connection, sometimes it randomly disconnects/reconnects. so the usb plug must be cheaply made since it comes loose so easily. but not a big issue.i may buy another one in the future if i run out of usb input slots on this one. or i may buy a higher quality one, but for the price this isn't bad.

I got a new mini computer desktop that only has 4 USB slots, which isn't nearly enough. After searching Amazon for the best model for my needs, I chose this one. I'm very happy with this product. It has a sufficient number of slots and I really like that each slot has its own off button. It's a simple Plug and Play. I plugged it into my computer and plugged my printer into the first slot. It was immediately recognized by my computer. It works great and comes with a very reasonable price

I use a few thumb drives for work and my laptop does not have enough ports. This gadget came in so very handy for my files.. It fits perfectly by the side of my device and with the extra long cord, I can move the laptop to a different position on the desk. Very good quality.

This is what I really needed to replace a 20-year-old 4-port hub. I plugged it in to my laptop USB 3.1 port and it works great! The quality is very good, and I like that you can power on or off each port. This way I can keep my 3d printer plugged in and not worry about it. It's also great for the Bluetooth mouse. This will be with my setup for a while. And for $10! I'll probably get another one! A very good buy.
