Good quality for the price
This desk embosser appears to be very good quality, heavy and sturdy enough for moderate personal use. The design embossed on my 20# paper is crisp and high relief. The lower part of the seal is a hard plastic, and the upper part is metal. I'm glad I selected upper case letters, as suggested by another reviewer. Order preparation and shipping was very quick. It's not real clear how to order additional seals, without the embosser itself.

Excelsior has no quality control.
I ordered the embosser twice. They screwed the first order by misspelling my middle name by leaving the "H" out of "CHRISTOPHER". Rather than screw around with the return process, I ordered another one. This time instead of my initials (DCOB) in the center they put " CORPORATE SEAL" in the center. I'm curious to see if anyone contacts me about this or I have to initiate corrective action. I want either a refund or two inserts done correctly as I ordered them and as they appear in my order details. (24 May 2019)
