The product is good for the money. My son doesn’t like cold food and this keeps food warm but not as warm as I would like it to be but it’s not bad either.

I've tried it for over a week now. I like the size and the design, I am disappointed this food container didn't keep the food warm. I packed hot pasta/rice/soup for my daughter for lunch at 7:30 am. I poured hot water inside the container for a couple of minutes to warm it up. I even heat the pasta an extra minute thinking it might keep it warm longer. By the time my daughter eats her lunch, she said the pasta is lukewarm. Her lunch hour is 12:00 pm. I wanted to return the product, but I've already used it. I am not sure what I did wrong that this container just couldn't retain the heat well.

We got this so my daughter can have hot food for lunch since she hates school food. Well, this didn't keep the food as hot as we hoped. It was lukewarm by the time she ate, which was 4 hours since she put the hot food in.

bought 2 of these actually and do not regret it. My oldest suddenly had to eat meals for his special diet and the school meals where not the ones to do that. so I bought this bento lunch box set, in the mornings for the hot food I would put boiled water in the one and let it sit while heating up the food. it would last from 6 am til at least 1pm. Easy for the kids to open on without help, easy to clean and small for storage.

The outer layer is made of cheap plastic. The box won’t open or close properly, and the lid’s rim ring broke while I was trying to open the lunchbox.
