It is recommend 24 hrs for best results. And it's a shiny finish, matching the ceramic sink-basin.

Q: I watched the wrong video on how to do this and put too much of the product on the tub. Looks lumped on any advice?

Maybe you can try and use a small sanding block that is a rough grit, take off around the area that is lumpy so you do not scratch the tub. It's going to take awhile to knock it down because it is a very tough material. Hope this helps.
