Zoo Med Betta Exercise Mirror

My betta loves this. He is always so engaged when I drop this in the tank.

My male Betta loves thi mirror. It provides the females in the tank a break. So glad I have one for each tank.

My fish is really enjoyed his toy. A must have.

Cut the mirror off and thank me later. Betta fish loves the Bubble, loves bopping it and moving it around.

I have used this multiple times, both in the water and outside the tank. It floats nicely at the top of the tank which is great for some but my betta stays near the bottom unless he is going to sleep in his floating log. I switched to holding outside his tank to be sure he saw it and that little punk just ran and hid. No puffing, no exercise - just running in terror. After trying this a few days and realizing he was just having panic attacks about another fish invading his space, I decided this was a fishy torture device and won’t be traumatizing my little baby anymore. Poor little Alexander.

The media could not be loaded. It’s pretty simple a mirror on a ping pong looking ball to float. I got it for my Betta fish Ketchup and he def looks like a big terrifying guy when I put it in. I set a 5 min timer let him do his thing and call it a day. I will say you have to put it close to them first so they can see it but after that they will do their thing. Great enrichment.
