The cards have unique and beautiful art - I love the stylized drawings. It did take some getting used to as I had been playing with the same set for years prior to purchasing these but I really love that they have a more homey, artsy feel. There are a lot of jokers which I don’t use but I imagine there are different games that do use them.

We play a lot of Korean cards at my house and had never seen them packaged this fancy. The box is really cute. The cards themselves are more muted in color than our old ones but still very nice. They play just as well as our old ones. They would make a good gift.

These are surprisingly high quality. They feel like they are made of sturdy plastic, very similar to a credit card. The images are well printed; I can't see any pixelation or artifacts. The hard plastic storage box is a nice touch and also looks sleek and nice.

I've bought three different brands of Korean hanafuda decks on Amazon, plus two Nintendo decks, and this deck is by far my favorite.PROS:Colors are bright and look really nice against the cream colored background.Edges are rounded and not sharp.Includes 6 Jokers (w/ cute animals on them).Hard plastic case is pretty.Card backs are textured (and black).The May Iris petals are purple (not black on black like other brands).CONS:A little pricey.

Total winner hwatu set. I love the illustrations and the cards themselves are extremely durable. The case is also sleek and lovely. I bought one for myself and one to gift a friend.

I grew up playing this game and I’m so excited to see such a beautiful case and set of cards! I’ve only ever played with red cards and a cheap tacky flimsy plastic case. This is such a nice deck!!

Very pretty and sturdy made. I was hesitant as i was worried it could be different from traditional. But it’s delightfully beautiful.
