Updated review: 2 of 6 didn't work, but replacements did
Updated review:I was contacted by the seller after posting my original review, and they offered me a full refund. They said they have been having issues with Amazon orders where the products are showing up to folks with more than one not working. I used the refund to buy directly from the seller, and I got 2 4-packs (the 6 pack was not available).Upon arrival, they all worked great, no duds! Would recommend buying directly from small business if you're interested in these.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Was super excited for these bath lights, but so disappointed. I opened them and tossed them in the bath - 2 out of 6 don't work straight away. I took a picture to show how vivid they are when they work compared to the broken ones. For $25 for 6, to have this happen immediately is very disappointing. Returning!DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Fun, but…
So the little cubes only last so long and you have to buy more. The pack comes with extra which is nice, unless your kids want to use them all at once lol.I bought two, a red and a yellow. The red worked great, no issues at all… the yellow turned on instantly, lasted 2 mins, and hasn’t turned on again since. We’ve tried 3 cubes and they all did the same thing! My daughter is really upset that hers did not work. The figures are cute but the cubes are difficult to take out. I almost think the light up cubes by themselves are more fun for the kids, although their characters did arm wrestle, so there’s that! lol.We used this during the day and you could still see the light pretty well, although you could not see the face project on the tub or walls like in the images. I will have to try it later in the day.Overall I like this, but for the price, they should all work right out of the box.

Fun while they worked. Battery life is terrible.

Alex brightens my day (I am 70 years young) and every time I pour liquid into my glass I smile.
The media could not be loaded. I have a new drinking buddy. I use Alex in my water glass and beverage glass. He is a hit at any party. I, also sent one as a birthday gift. I think these Glo Pals are great to put inside a child's clear sippy cup to encourage them to remain hydrated. At any rate the cubes are fun during bathing and drinking.

Very cute, and a unique toy to add to our bath rotation
Update: It's been over a year since I wrote this review. My son has used these toys consistently during bathtime. 2-3 of the cubes have either been lost or tossed because they stopped lighting up after awhile. The remaining 2-3 are impressively still working! I knew this was a "disposable" toy when we got it, but I'm surprised at how long it's lasted.Original review:Cute packaging; would be perfect for gifting. The toy comes with a pose-able Alex figure and 6 light-up cubes, which can be inserted into the face of the figure or used alone.I love that Alex can be bent into different poses, though the short length of his legs means it's very difficult to actually sit him up and have him stay that way.My son (nearly 2) loved this toy from the get-go. He can see the lighted toy through the bubbles in the bath and find it easily, which isn't the case for all his bath toys. He was interested in the fact that they only light up under water, and he uses his bath cups (just some old Tupperwares) to hold some water and a cube so that he can keep it lit up.I saw in the product photos that there is a picture of a dad showing his daughter a cube in a jar of water, so we tried that. So cool! Such a fun little nightlight. My son fell asleep holding it.The batteries in the cubes can't be replaced (sealed in place to prevent children swallowing them, which is good), but the toy can be recycled. According to the package, each cube is meant to last 16 hours. Given the length of the average bath, this toy will last quite a while. It's a little expensive, which is something to be considered (though the purchase allegedly benefits a children's hospital), and obviously there's only so much novelty, so this will go into the rotation. If you're looking for a complicated toy with lots of interesting uses, this isn't it, but it's a fun option for literally brightening up bath time.I recommend this product.

Fun but batteries don't last long
Great toys but batteries don't last long. Had 2 months and all the batteries are drained already. But super fun for the kiddos when they work!
