We recommend this product for smooth and oiled leathers and is not suitable for other fabrics. For other fabrics found on outdoor walking footwear we recommend Footwear Repel Plus.

The leather protecting wax is more of a protection layer rather than waterproofing so depends really on what your needs are for this product .
