I purchased this outdoor camera as I wanted a camera in a location that I cannot connect to a power supply unfortunately even when the battery is charged to 100% it will be depleted fully within 12 hours . SimpliSafe have not offered me a replacement battery which makes me think that’s the battery always behaves in this manner . SimpliSafe have offered me a free power cable or solar panel.. The camera is very slow to waken up but offers a clear picture when in use. Nice little product terrible battery life

Like I have said that it works well and that's what it says on the box that why I have ordered a other one

Camera works OK, but quality of video is poor. Also battery does not last long if in constant use. It also seems that motion detection is easily affected by reflections and light conditions.

Charged Battery fully Lasted 1 Week I can not keep climbing up as I am 78 Years of age

Does not work during cold and humid conditions such those experienced right now in uk, image turns foggy during night time and you can t see anything. Useless at night during these periods. Tried to clean the image and works for a few minutes/ hour but turns foggy once again. Tried rain x too and same happened. Works well during normal conditions even rain. But was expecting to work on all conditions being a security device.
