Lock works and my son loves it.
Really good product - we did get stuck with the lock after it was changed and wouldn’t open - but managed to re set code following a you tube video. Book is good quality.

Not worth the money
Not worth the money. My 7 year old grandson had the product for 2 days and the diary pages/pad became loose and fell out of the binder/cover, so it was no longer 'secret' what he wrote in it
