While there is much hot debate over "cheap Chinese- made"drums vs. higher quality drums, one must ask- are you willing to wait and save up the money, or play now on something that MAY not ring as true? I fell in love with the sound of handpan. I do not have a large budget nor the patience to wait to get my hands on this instrument. I just wanted to play. That's all. I may not be good now, but I'm learning. And when I'm better, I'll hopefully be in a better financial place to buy a better instrument. I want one with more notes. My friends and family are just as enchanted with the soothing sounds this drum creates. I believe this is a decent value. The storage case is nice to carry as well.

This is a great drum but I order the 22 inch 12 note ash-gold drum and recieved this by mistake. Can I trade it in for the right one?

Reasonable price with 12 notes and accessories.I bought it for my wife and she gets relaxing when she uses it. Waterproof carry bag helps her to carry it.

Love it! What a cool color combination, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase. I thought I'd have to spend a lot more to get the sound quality, but after taking some online lessons (being a newbie) I am very pleased with it. Beautiful attractive sound, It plays easily once you learn how and you don't have to hit it hard. Big plus is that it includes stands and a carrying case that can be worn as a backpack. Good Buy!

So, I had a 10 note from another company. Sound was good but not perfect. This is to be expected. The same 10 notes are the same with this hand pan. The only problem with this hand pan is those two extra notes D5 and F5 are really hard to play. You have to hit them a pretty harder to hear them or use the mallets which I don’t typically do. This hand pan is just okay. Just a little disappointed by those two notes not being able to be heard without the mallets. Other than that it’s pretty good.

I recently purchased this handpan and I absolutely love it. The unique music sound it makes is just amazing and is truly one of a kind.The craftsmanship is also impeccable, the resonance and tones are just great. I am a new student of the handpan, and of music in general. I purchased this handpan as a starter instrument until I learn to play. I am not trained to recognize notes yet, but I am married to a musician :)So when I received this handpan, it was beautiful! I was so excited! So I got it out, set it up and began sounding the notes. One was obviously flat — I mean dead! It did not ring at all. Just sounded like a “doink”. The area was bent in several places, despite the fact that it was well packaged and protected. This one failed inspection before being packaged. I was so disappointed! I returned it. Perhaps I just got a bad product. But now I am late for class!
