🏋️♀️ A Powerlifting Partner That Delivers - A Mixed Review of the RDX Weight Lifting Straps
Grip Greatness or Grip Grievances? Weighing the Pros and Cons of the RDX Weight Lifting StrapsAs a seasoned weightlifter, I'm always on the hunt for gear that can take my training to the next level. When I stumbled upon the RDX Weight Lifting Straps, I was intrigued by the promise of enhanced grip, wrist support, and unbreakable durability. 💪Let's start with the positives. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the construction. These straps are built like a tank, with reinforced stitching and a sturdy, neoprene-padded design. The 5mm of wrist support has been a game-changer, providing the perfect blend of comfort and stability under heavy loads. 👍The grip factor is also a major selling point. The wide, anti-slip design really locks your hands in place, even during the most intense deadlifts and power cleans. I've noticed a significant improvement in my lifting performance, as I no longer have to worry about losing my grip.Customers seem to echo these sentiments, praising the comfort, quality, and overall effectiveness of the RDX straps. Many mention that the length is just right, allowing for versatile wrapping and a secure hold. 👍However, not everything is perfect. While the straps have held up exceptionally well to my rigorous training, I did encounter a few minor frustrations along the way. The neoprene padding, while comfortable, can be a bit tricky to clean, and I've noticed some discoloration over time. 🤔Additionally, some customers have reported issues with the straps slipping or loosening during use, despite the anti-slip design. This could be a potential dealbreaker for those seeking the most reliable grip possible.Overall, the RDX Weight Lifting Straps are a solid choice for weightlifters and powerlifters looking to take their training to new heights. 🏆 The combination of quality construction, wrist support, and superior grip makes these straps a valuable addition to any gym bag. That said, the occasional cleaning and potential slippage issues are worth considering. If you're willing to experiment a bit to find the perfect fit and technique, these straps could be your new lifting partner. But if you're seeking a completely hassle-free experience, you may want to explore some alternative options.

Works as expected. Comfortable and decent durability.
It’s exactly what you would want and expect. It has some padding where it’s in contact with your hands/wrist so it’s actually quite comfortable.I was able to add an extra 20Kg to my deadline comfortably since I started using these and feel the results on my hamstrings way better. All in all a solid buy.

Perfect Gym Asset 10/10
Here is my review on the RDX Gym Straps1. Quality: I find the quality very good and has a sturdy feeling to it. The cord of the strap has a premium quality touch and it feels very comfortable on both of my wrists. The rubber part which is the grip, has a strong, solid and sturdy feeling to it which allows me to grasp my weights comfortably.2.Comfort: They are brand new from the pack so as soon as you where them they can at first feel very sturdy and hard to break in to make them soften, of course the feeling is comfortable and they have a good sense around your wrist which they lay comfortably on your hands without any problems once you start wearing them more often.3. Value for Money: Compared to what’s on the market today I find this an excellent price point. Worth every penny.4. Color: I bought the one Black ones with the Red rubber grip. I find them so stunning and they match perfectly with my gym outfits :)Overall I am a very satisfied customer.

Happy
I consider that the straps are substantial and good quality. I would therefore say that they represent good value for money. I am new to using this type of strap and there was no instruction of any type supplied with them.It might have been useful to have some basic information on how, when and in what circumstance they should be usedThat said as with any weightlifting exercises it’s probably best to consult a trainer on their use and if that isn’t possible there is a raft of info on the net. I am pleased with the product and they have assisted me in my work outs although as I said it is my opinion that advice should be sought on their use possibly prior to buying a set. Having made the decision to use them I am more than happy with my purchase and they have met my expectations in terms of enhancing my workout sessions

Not very grippy
There are no rubber grips inside the straps which mean they slip easily

Great for lifting heavy!
I love these straps for my deadlifts, great for PB's and avoid slipping. Only 4/5 stars as the straps have begun to dig in to my wrist and cause sores/ friction burns.

Rubberized Dot Mapping - Great straps for OVERHAND bar wrapping
If you don't know (or "get") the difference between wrapping "under" the bar (or "underhand") vs. "over" the bar (or "overhand"), though your hands are "overhand" in both cases, then this review won't make much sense. If you understand, read on...I got the "rubberized dot mapping" version of these straps... very well-made, love them, they work as advertised... as good or better than the Harbinger straps I've used for decades. For those that don't use or like a lot of lifting chalk when using straps (which can, over time, actually make your straps more slippery), then this rubberized dot mapping is awesome. Now, If you typically wrap "overhand" for things like deadlifts, pulls, shrugs, etc., the dot mapping is fantastic and on the "correct" side of the strap. BUT, if you (like me) prefer to wrap UNDERHAND for overhead lifts like snatches and clean&jerks (so that if you happen to "lose" the bar behind you, the straps will more easily "release" and not lock your hands to the bar and pull you to the platform), then the dot mapping is on the "wrong" side. Now, this can be overcome by simply twisting the strap just under the wrist so that the dot mapping is now on "top" of the strap, but you lose a little of the tight "cinching" at the wrist when you do that. Small price to pay for an otherwise GREAT lifting strap. Just be aware.
