Similar to other reviews, you are lucky if it lasts more than 6 months. Thermostat was almost useless from the beginning.

Killed my fish overnight, after working fine for months, everything dead :(

Great use of the auto cut out , for if you are like me, always forget to turn them off saves me buying constant replacements when the cheaper one explode,Tetra air pumps are very quiet too

This heater works well and was at a good price. Arrived promptly and was used in my quarantine aquarium for a few weeks and is now just kept as a spare so cannot comment on how durable it is
