This is the 2nd time I've ordered a replacement screen for a laptop from East Coast LCDs and both have been excellent. The first one (for a Asus netbook) had one stuck pixel but this one (I'm using it now) is perfect. If you didn't know it had been replaced you could not tell. I will use East Coast LCDs any time in the future if I need a replacement LC. The screen arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery date and is packaged very well - not much chance of in-transit damage. If you need to replace a laptop screen this is the place to order it.

I dropped my trusty EeePc and cracked the screen. The Eee cost only $250 so I wasn't too upset and was simply going to remove the hard drive and recycle everything else, then I wondered if I could replace the screen at a reasonable price and the answer was YES. I had a choice of either matte or glossy. Went with the matte and it looks great! If you are not technically inclined, I would not recommend doing this yourself but if you go to youtube and search EeePC screen repair, you will see several videos with step-by-step instructions on how to do it.

I'm usually wary of aftermarket/third-party laptop parts but this was perfect. I replaced the screen in a netbook I'd gotten for free and this has worked like a charm. It actually fit in the case, unlike some other aftermarket parts you'll see, and hasn't died on me in over a year of use.

An exact replacement for a cracked screen (dog stepped on it). Works great, no dead pixels, Video's can be found on the Internet to step you through replacing the screen.Hint; pay careful attention how cables route past the hinge on disassemble.
