Tips for high elevation
Works great but at 6,000 foot elevation..it worked best by using electric kettle with temp control and filling just to the bottom edge of the yogurt container after placing in the insulating pod. I then also covered the pod with additional insulation and left a full 12 hours. Love the taste!

So easy and yummy
This is such a good idea! I purchased this after seeing an article on BuzzFeed about EasiYo. My kids and I eat a lot of yogurt, so this seemed like a good buy. It is very easy to use, and my kids were excited to help out with pouring the water and yogurt mix in the jar and shaking it up. The next morning, we had over a quart of creamy and delicious yogurt. The directions say it can last up to two weeks in the refrigerator, but I think it’ll be gone in a few days!UPDATE: I gifted an EasiYo starter kit and fruit variety pack to my dad for Father’s Day. He and my mom love it, too! His favorite is the peach, and my mom likes the blueberry. I even got them extra jars, and they made some for two of their neighbors. The neighbors also love it!

Almost perfect
I wanted to buy this yogurt maker in order to save money (retiree here) and stop my single use plastic habit, it has worked to a degree. I have a hard time getting the yogurt to set (hence 4 stars only, have tried anything and everything and it still won’t set) and so I make ice cream with it by freezing the yogurt in ice cube trays, it’s upsetting because it’s so easy to make and the yogurt is delicious so I wish I could have it all the time but I have come to terms with having my ice cream yogurt all the time, I still highly recommend it, it’s so easy to make and such a delicious treat!! Love that it’s from NZ!!

When they say easy, they aren't kidding!
Easiest yogurt maker ever. First discovered on a trip to new Zealand, you don't need to go through all the steps needed with an electric yogurt maker of scalding the milk, cooling it, adding starter, etc. Just mix the pouch powder with water and put the container in the base with HOT water, seal it and wait 8 hours. Great tasing yogurt made with No. 2 milk.

Works but some issues
Does this work? Yes it does. The problem are the expensive packets. It's practically impossible to find the plain Greek yogurt packets which clearly most people want because it doesn't have added sugar. This kit came with a strawberry packet & the second ingredient is sugar for a total of 20 g of sugar. Not good. For those interested, if you Google "how to make yogurt from scratch in an Easiyo yogurt maker"you might find an article that I found that tells how to do so. I don't think Amazon will let me post a link but basically the recipe uses powdered milk, organic milk and either a little bit of yogurt out of a container or a couple tablespoons of the mix made by this company to get it started.

YOGURT Maker questionable providence
Sadly the product arrived and appeared as though it had been hand rubbed—the plastic exterior shell had serious wear on it in 3x4 inch patches—in several areas—After a couple weeks of online research, I noticed many are selling used versions of this…and charging anywhere from $30–100$ to reship to Canada or elsewhere—from NZ, Germany, UK. That is strange. And why would eBay be selling MANY “used” makers—I mean individual sellers having multiple used items? Are they being salvaged, resold? FYI: This is NOT an electric yogurt maker, so you have to boil water and add it to the exterior holder/capsule. That is good. I just pour whole milk into the canister, let it sit at room temp for 3-4 hours, mix in culture-my own—and shake, then let it sit in the cannister and pour boiling water. After 8 hours the yogurt is fine to refrigerate. The Sachets they sell are a combo of dried milk powder and a culture/starter, eliminating the need for liquid milk.

So glad I got this
I eat yogurt every day and I spent a lot of money on store yogurt and watch the price rising to $1.35 a piece. So I decided to try and make my own and I bought the starter kit and I was hooked if you love yogurt as much as I do this is the only I repeat only way to go it's very simple to use bruise overnight while you're sleeping put it in the fridge to chill it you're done. Except to eat it of course which I do with vigor and fruit!
