I bought this to cover a decently thick opening at the foot of the door going into my sunroom. In the winter, you can feel the cold air reaching all the way into the family room, 20-25 feet into the home. This item put a stop to all of that. It has hooks at the end that are seemingly used to attach or connect, but we haven't needed to use them. When we open the door the stopper easily slides along the ground. It is perfect for it's purpose.

The door to my unheated basement has a pretty large gap under it which lets the cold air flow in in the winter. I had been using a rolled up towel but it just got to be a pain so I decided to try a traditional draft stopper like this one, and now I'm glad I did. Works as advertised keeping a nice seal against the door even without the Velcro strips which I am not using.It's a 30 inch door so I bought the 32 inch draft stopper and it is in fact 32 inches wide and fits perfectly under the door with an extra inch off to each side as you can see by the image. I tried to to get a shot at an angle to allow you to clearly see how it sits right against the door. I mainly go into the basement to do the laundry and it's nice to be able to simply hook it over the doorknob to quickly get it out of the way while coming and going, and when I'm finished, right back down it goes. Nice!

Compact but heavy so does a decent job. Ordered 36" for 30" door. Suggestion: Order size larger than door or draft will find its way through the sides :]

Pretty much what I wanted. Use every summer day.

Doesn't lay flat against the door, so door is not sealed as expected. Packaged in such a way that some folds remain. I've made quite an effort to straighten these out, but the Draft Stopper remains unable to seal flat along the door. The product included Velcro as an optional attachment that could help. Sadly that option would allow the Draft Stopper to drag across the floor and wear out or snag on the flooring. Not what I expected. I do not recommend.

Meh, not heavy (as stated) and not form fitting. Basically kit doesn't hold it integrity. You can get better and I will.
