Calico Critters Toy Shop

We love all things Calico Critters at our house and this set is no exception. I'm surprised with the quality of these sets every time we get one but I shouldn't be by now. My only complaint is that there are no real instructions and, being a direction follower, I was wanting to make sure we had the stickers in the right places. Took us awhile to figure out that the sticker placement was illustrated on a box flap since someone had tossed the box before we put it all together. Overall though it didn't matter - really doesn't matter where most of the stickers go anyways. I do like the supermarket set better since it's all the little bits and pieces that the kids like so much but this is cute, quality is great, and it unpacks and comes together quickly.

My daughter is absolutely thrilled about this gift. We set it up and it had everything. Very cute and perfect with her collection. Only complaint is that one of the papers to make the boxes were literally paper thin compared to other ones that were a bit more like cardboard. Typically, in other sets, the paper for making boxes is a little thicker than the "paper items" to where it's easy to put together. We had complications on 1 of the 3 paper pieces for creating the toy boxes. Other than that, perfect and happy.

My girls are in love! They take their calico critters here to ‘buy toys’. There a lots of small parts and I wouldn’t recommend it unless your child can keep them all together. We keep all the small things in a plastic bag. It’s hard to remember how many little parts there are so we cut the list of all the items off of the box. We read the list and they do a great job of keeping track of where each little toy went and putting it in the bag when they are done. Overall this is a huge hit and my girls want to play with it often.

So cute. Accessories were adorable (and very small) Granddaughter loves it!

Fun addition to our CC town. This is well thought out and very detailed! I do wish the tiny pieces were a bit larger; we’ve started implementing some of the lil woodeez accessories, because they are just enough bigger to make them easier to hold and play with.

Niece loves this line. Everything is higher quality than your target comparables and she has so much fun with all the different sets available. Plus the prices aren’t bad at all. Parts can get really small so I don’t recommend this for anyone under the age of 3!

These little shops are simply adorable. Details are terrific and the girls I bought them for just LOVED them. I bought this one along with the bakery and the toy store. The girls just loved them and were able to set up a little town and NO FIGHTING!

Gift for granddaughter for Christmas ........ she loves everything Calico Critters and I know will be thrilled to add this to her collection!
