Don’t waste your money because you can pull it off your steering wheel and to add insult to injury the so called alarm is worthless to stop thieves from stealing your vehicle. Find another product that will truly deter thieves from stealing your vehicle because this one will not.

Can the lock be used without the alarm?

You would need to pull the batteries. The actual lock is mechanical.
